The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the most popular certifications for Secondary school education offered by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (commonly known as Cambridge or CIE -Cambridge International Examinations). Cambridge IGCSE helps improve learners' performance by developing creative thinking, enquiry and problem-solving skills. It is the perfect launchpad for advanced study.
The school timings for different sections at SVBISD are as follows:
- EYP(EY 2,Reception and Foundation) - 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- PYP(Grade 1-5): 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
- MYP(Grades 6-8):8:30 a.m. to 3.15 p.m.
- IGCSE(Grade 9 & 10): 8:30 a.m. to 3.15 p.m.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) adopts an inquiry-driven, concept-based approach that prioritizes deep understanding over rote learning. Its framework—Early Years Programme (EYP), Primary Years Programme (PYP), and Middle Years Programme (MYP)—is designed to foster transdisciplinary/interdisciplinary learning, enabling students to make meaningful connections across subjects.

Reception (Jr. Kg)- above 3.5 yrs
